What may you expect after your first adjustment?
- Relief with decrease or possible absence of pain
- Improved range of motion
- Possible mild soreness
- Possible muscle tightness
- Slight increase in your symptoms
What should you do?
- Apply cold pack/ice as needed to sore areas
- 15-20 minutes on/ 40 minutes off
- No longer than 20 minutes on
- Avoid activities that cause pain or discomfort
- Plenty of rest
- Drink 6-8 glasses of water a day
- Do only suggested stretches/exercises recommended by doctor
